windows xp update

First sorry for writing in English.

My windows update has stopped being updated since some time even though it is configured to auto update. I remember that I have read somewhere about a patch to this problem but I am not sure and can not seem to find it.

Any suggestion anybody please.

but way the auto update stopped working. it was working ok before sometime.
