Angry Birds features hours of gameplay, challenging physics-based castle demolition, and lots of replay value. Each of the 120 levels requires logic, skill, and brute force to crush the enemy.
In grand Crazy Machines tradition, players must create wacky chain reactions using different parts and accomplish the tasks set out in their mission, from knocking vases over to blowing out candles. Players can also use lots of new parts besides the elements, including cloud machines, pinwheels and flamethrowers.
Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp takes place after the events of the first game. The dashing hero, Dirk the Daring, has married his damsel in distress, Daphne. The two live together with their numerous children and all is well…until the evil wizard Mordroc kidnaps Daphne, and it’s up to Dirk to save her before she is forced into marriage. Using a magical time machine, Dirk travels to many different dimensions on his quest to save the one he loves.

:Gameloft is at it again. The company has succeeded on a strategy of similarity throughout the past several years, creating cloned versions of other studios' biggest hits and serving them up mostly on mobile platforms. Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is another of these projects, a game that feels like a riff on more original dungeon crawlers like Diablo -- and it, too, originally debuted in the mobile space.
Created by famed French videogame designer Eric Chahi, this mysterious game tells of a world in terrible disorder, one that only you can set right again. Commanding the world around you as a child in a sandbox, players will help their people resist, expand and migrate so they can accomplish their quest to find a safe place in a land ravaged by the violent and catastrophic ways of Nature.
Gameplay in this innovative game is based on advanced technology that allows the entire world to act dynamically. The ground, water, and vegetation are all yours to interact with -- breach a lake open, dig open a crater, set loose a lava flow ... your powers are great, but how you choose to use them will determine the fate of this society.
:Look out, Lair: there's a new single-word dragon game on the PlayStation 3. Hoard is a PlayStation Network download that puts you in the wings of a fire-breathing demon terrorizing the countryside. Like all dragons you love treasure, and your one goal is to amass as much of it as you can before time runs out. By burning towns, castles and crops, you'll reveal piles of gold that can be carried back to your nest. Getting in your way, though, will be archers protecting towns, knights out to impress the princess, and other dragons (likely controlled by other players) that have their own hoards to build. It all makes for a great multiplayer game.
:Hydrophobia first arrived last year on Xbox Live Arcade, promising to be just the beginning of a trilogy of waterlogged adventure games. But after mixed reviews, developer Dark Energy Digital took all that criticism to heart and implemented many story and gameplay changes to the original game. The result is Hydrophobia: Prophecy, now available on the PlayStation Network. Since I already liked Hydrophobia quite a bit , I wouldn't say I'm blown away by this remixed version, but I definitely still recommend it. It matches the production values of the best

It doesn't have the words "tomb" or "raider" in the title, but Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is the best Tomb Raider game in a long time. This is a very different adventure for Lara. She's still spelunking for treasure, but Guardian of Light finds her playing cooperatively with a partner, introduces fun new arcade features, and gives players a new perspective on the iconic British action heroine. The result: you're going to fall in love with Lara all over again.
Let's not mince words: Real Steel is a terrible game. You should not play this mess under any circumstances. Even if you adore the Hugh Jackman film it's based on -- wherein Wolverine teaches big robots to punch each other -- you'd be wasting your time and money. This downloadable adaptation is far beneath the low standards established by the movie-based games we all love to hate. On paper, Real Steel is the realization of a favorite childhood fantasy. I mean, this is totally what we always wanted from Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. The reality of it is a troubled, maddening fighting game with nothing new to offer.
:I didn't really know what to expect from Rochard until I saw our very own Ryan Clements' excellent video preview back in July. Seeing the game in action and hearing more about its plot and gameplay intrigued me, and I anxiously waited for the day when I would get my hands on this unique offering from Recoil Games. Would it be as good as it seemed and as fun as I'd hoped? The answer to both of these question is a resounding yes.
The evil commander Borf has kidnapped Ace's girlfriend, the beautiful Kimberley, and is plotting to enslave the Earth using his dreaded "Infanto Ray", a weapon that changes everyone it blasts into a helpless baby. Armed with only a laser gun, Ace must find and destroy the Infanto Ray, rescue Kimberley and save the Earth. All in a day's work for a superhero, right?
